The 2014 EBET Award goes to...

Business English UK’s annual Excellence in Business English Training (EBET) award for 2014 results were announced on Saturday 7th June and the winner is - Jon Dyson.

Jon is nominated by the London School of English. The judges praised not only his teaching but also his creative use of materials – his submission included a videoconference call.

 “Great materials and a simple idea well executed.” 

“The lesson as a whole was really interactive and personalised – the students were fully involved and obviously learnt a great deal while enjoying the whole experience."

The EBET award is designed to recognise trainers who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of Business English training, who have given inspiration to fellow trainers, and who have made a significant and positive impact on their clients’ learning experience. 

The finalists for the EBET 2014 Award were Emma Whitehouse and Jon Dyson from The London School of English, Ben Lee from Experience English, and Antony Frobisher from Kingsway English Centre.
