Business English UK is actively promoting the best of business English training all over the world. Its marketing activities have reached over 22 countries. Here are some highlights of the past events.
Since it was first launched in 2008, the fair has become one of the most successful events for UK corporate training providers who wish to access or expand their businesses in Central and Eastern European markets. The Education and Skills team at UK Trade & Investment, in collaboration with their UKTI British Embassy colleagues in the region, bring buyers from each of the participating countries to meet with the UK exhibitors.
BEUK and its members have been great supporters since the beginning. Over half of the members have participated in the event over the past few years.
23-24 Feburary
This one day event was held at the British Embassy in Torre Espacio, one of Madrid’s new landmark towers. UK companies had the opportunity to gain deeper insight of the Spanish corporate training sector, meet potential buyers and distributors of their products and services, as well as visit AEFOL 2009, a trade fair focusing on e-learning.
Over 70 visitors attended the workshop.
Held for the first time in Istanbul, the European People Management Conference is the one of the most prestigious HR conferences in Europe. Over 2000 delegates from 42 countries were estimated to be presented at the conference. Supported by UK Trade & Investment, BEUK set up a 'pavilion' at the conference where 5 members participated.
